Capturing Love: A Proposal and Engagement Photography Experience at Lake Lure Inn and Spa

When Jordan posted in a Facebook group looking for a photographer to capture a surprise proposal for his soon-to-be fiance, Sally, I just had to comment and offer my services! From the first moment we first started chatting on the phone, we were planning this huge surprise event! He knew the proposal had to be in Lake Lure. They had visited Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure in Summer of '24 and they both fell in love with the area. Even though Hurricane Helene left its mark on Lake Lure, it wasn't going to stop Jordan from proposing in their favorite area.

I had so much fun planning this surprise with Jordan. Despite his nervousness, we came up with a grand plan to surprise Sally. The day of, she was so stunned she could barely speak from giggling so much. I know this moment in time will be unforgettable for Sally, but it will be for me too! Getting to experience and witness their love is a memory I'll never forget!
